Theateraufführung Bewegte Begegnung Text von Valerie Addae Am 27.06.2025 kamen im Kulturschloss Wandsbek zwei Welten zusammen: Das Playbacktheater Jenfeld und die Tanz- und Akrobatikgruppe des Kigamboni Community Center aus Dar Es Salaam. A short documentary that takes you through the so-called Tanzania Park in Hamburg Jenfeld in a slightly different way: rapped and informative. We take a critical look at the colonial monuments that can be found here and shed light on their historical and social significance. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This tour shows and discusses racist and colonial monuments. The aim is to draw attention to the problematic history and its after-effects. The presentation serves to educate and encourage people to come to terms with the colonial past.

As part of a special intercultural exchange, the Kigamboni Community Center, a music, acrobatics and theater group from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and the Jenkitos, a theater group from Jenfeld, Hamburg, met for an intensive and inspiring encounter in which they not only rehearsed together, but also developed a completely new play in a very short space of time.
