25 Mar International Week against Racism in Jenfeld
From March 22 to 24, we hosted a weekend critical of racism in Jenfeld in cooperation with Jenfeld Haus and Bücherhalle Jenfelder Au. On Friday, neighbors from the Tanzania Park AG, the Jenfeld rapper Valero and the two members of the AG Jenfeld barrier-free Heike and Stephi read from books about colonialism in the book hall.
Valero quoted from "Tor zur Welt" (ed. Jürgen Zimmerer and Kim Sebastian Todzi), Stephi + Heike read from "Plattenbauten und Palmenkanonen: Zu Fuß in Tansania" by Thomas Grigoleit and "Treu bis in den Tod" by Marianne Bechhaus-Gerst. Christiane read from "Kolonialheld für Kaiser und Führer. General Lettow-Vorbeck - Myth and Reality" (Uwe Schulte-Varendorff).
On Sunday, Salon International e.V. invited all curious and interested parties to Tanzania Park for a guided tour with Paula Dahl (Uni HH). Afterwards, there was the opportunity to take part in the rapped tour by Sherlock F. (Marc Agten).
